🕒 Hours: Monday - Friday, 5:00am - 1:00pm + Saturday work available

💰 Pay Rate:

Ordinary: $35.03/hr
Time & a Half: $52.54/hr
Double Time: $70.06/hr
📅 Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a dedicated Laboratory Technician to join our Quality Control team at our busy manufacturing site in Dandenong South. Reporting directly to the QC Team Leader, this hands-on role is ideal for someone with experience in a production or manufacturing environment and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform lab tests on in-process production samples and critical raw materials
Record test results accurately in logbooks or Excel (if computer-literate)
Maintain clean and organized laboratory spaces and equipment
Collect and store batch retain samples for traceability
Test incoming bulk raw materials
Report any out-of-specification results immediately to the QC Team Leader or Production Manager
Follow all lab protocols, safety standards, and test conditions
Support general housekeeping and ensure lab hygiene is maintained

What We're Looking For:

Prior experience in a production or manufacturing environment (essential)
Ability to work independently and maintain high attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety and quality
No specific licenses or tickets required - full training provided
Basic computer skills (advantageous)
