Current Openings
1. Skilled Labourer - Painter / Plasterer
Location: Rainbow Bay, Queensland Pay Rate: $39 per hour
Role Details:
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks before painting or plastering.
- Mix and apply paints, primers, sealants, or plaster using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Perform minor repairs on walls, ceilings, and other surfaces prior to finishing work.
- Measure, cut, and install plasterboard or apply coats of plaster for smooth finishes.
- Ensure work is completed to a high standard and maintain cleanliness of tools and work areas.
2. Labourer
Location: Rainbow Bay, Queensland Pay Rate: $35 per hour
Role Details:
- Assist tradespeople with rectification tasks such as structural repairs, waterproofing, and façade maintenance.
- Prepare and clean work areas, remove debris, and set up safety barriers.
- Load, unload, and relocate construction materials and tools across the site.
- Perform basic demolition and surface preparation using manual techniques.
- Operate hand and power tools including grinders, drills, and jackhammers under supervision.
What We're Looking For
Our clients are seeking individuals who:
- Have proven experience in painting and/or plastering (for the Skilled Labourer role) or general construction/remedial work (for the Labourer role).
- Possess a White Card (required for both roles).
- Hold a Driver Licence (preferable for both roles; essential for site-to-site travel as a Labourer).
- Have Working at Heights tickets (preferable for both roles).
- Are physically fit and capable of manual labour.
- Demonstrate strong awareness of workplace safety and adhere to site protocols.
- Are reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team or independently.
- Contribute to a positive team environment with a can-do attitude.
- Communicate respectfully across all levels and take pride in maintaining a safe, tidy, and respectful job site.
