Job description
Our client supplies compressed and bulk gases, chemicals and equipment around the globe. The company develops safe, sustainable and innovative solutions for customers in many specialty sectors, heavy industry and medical.
As well as atmospheric gases, we supply thousands of different types of gas, and gas mixtures to customers across the South Pacific in an enormous range of industries.
Monday to Friday - 7.00am to 3.00pm
Ongoing position
Duties:
- Receive Inbound stock and put away
- Use of SAP software
- Load/Unloading responsibility for Main Stores area
- Re-stock site PPE Vending Machine
- Store to be kept tidy and swept weekly
- Goods Issuing
- Store Runs to pick up maintenance/production items from local shop
- Pick orders and dispatch daily
- Answer store phone
- Sign in/sign out procedures followed with delivery drivers
- Forklift operation
- Conduct daily safety pre-start inspections on Forklift
- Waste management
- Annual stock take
- Follow up of overdue purchase orders
Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
- A demonstrated commitment to work safety
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work effectively both in a team environment and on own.
- Self-motivated and eager to please
- Current Fork Lift Licence
- Experience with the use of computers
- Experience with inventory management programs (SAP) preferable or similar
- Must be able to pass a Full Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen
Must be able to pass a National Police Clearance
