Job description

Seeking an assistant Storeman for our client, a national leader in records management, based on the Sunshine Coast and nationally recognised.

The position will initially be an ongoing casual position with the potential to go full time for the right candidate.

Duties will include:

  • Handling documents / archive boxes
  • Destruction of documents and boxes
  • Courier work will be involved
  • Delivery to and from customer sites based in and around the Sunshine Coast region
  • RF scanning
  • Data Entry

Successful applicants must have a good level of fitness, as there will be handling of archive boxes which weigh up to 20kg.

Due to the nature of the work, those who are successful must have a current police check or be willing to undertake one.

To be considered for this position the following is required;

  • Good level of fitness
  • Tidy presentation
  • Good people skills
  • Car Licence
  • Previous customer services / warehouse experience would be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of safe manual handling techniques
  • Current police check - or willing to undertake one
  • Own transport to get to and from site
