An exciting opportunity has become available with Australia's leading gas & welding equipment specialist, offering gases, welders & welding supplies, PPE, workplace safety & industrial equipment. Our client, located in Toowoomba is now seeking an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their team in an ongoing Warehousing position.
About the position:
As a member of this team, you will be predominantly working in the warehouse and responsible for the daily inbound/outbound orders of various sizes gas cylinders. You will be required to work Monday to Friday completing 8 hour shifts in an ongoing role. Your responsibilities will consist of manual loading and unloading, operating the forklift, inventory management and completing regular paperwork as required for all orders. You will also be required to assist with basic sales and customer matters in the shop front where communication is key!
This role is the perfect opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, enjoys interacting with different people on a daily basis and also has an interest or experience in distribution.
What you will need:
- Previous experience in a warehousing / storeperson role
- Must hold current forklift license
- Drivers license and reliable transport
- Welding background highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Industrial and safety equipment knowledge would be highly advantageous
