Duties
- selecting and preparing meat to produce smallgoods
- Preparing meat by boning, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat as ordered
- · Preparing crumbed cuts of meat, and marinating, seasoning and curing special cuts
- operating sausage filling machines, smoking machines and slicing equipment
- slicing and packaging for wholesale orders
Skills & Experience
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Commitment to both on and off the job training
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely and follow instructions
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- High level of honesty and integrity
- Strong communication skills
- Passionate for working within the food industry
