LSA Health is currently seeking Personal Care Assistants to join our South East care team, you will have the flexibility of working hours, locations, long or short-term contracts, local/Rural and remote in aged care or a hospital environment.
We are looking for people who have a passion in helping others to gain their independence, building trusting relationships to empower and inspire enjoyment of life.
You must have a high standard and exceptional level of patient personal care, excellent communication and relationship building skills.
In Aged care - Your duties will be assisting residents with daily activities including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, changing linens, and taking medication.
In hospitals - Your duties include aiding other medical personnel as they provide treatment, interacting with patients, assist in patients with daily activities, clean hospital rooms, transport patients to diagnostic tests, and help with grooming and eating and listening to their needs in a hospital setting.
Requirements;
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or indivdual Support is ideal.
- Experience within a clinical hospital setting an advantage
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- Current Criminal History Check
- COVID certificate
- Availability to work a variety of shift
- Working with children certificate
