About the Role
As our Mechanical fitter your duties will include:
- Reporting directly to the National Maintenance manager
- Trouble Shooting
- Effective planning for plant shut down
- Preventive maintenance tasks
- Lubrication, belt tracking, replacing bearings, chains, belts, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, screw conveyors and etc.
- Planned shutdown maintenance tasks
- Monthly stock taking of spare parts inventory
- Repairs to Pneumatic airlines and componentry
- Repairs to Hydraulic Systems and componentry
- Working cohesively with other trades
- Performing changeovers, machine adjustments and mechanical breakdowns
About You
- A minimum 5 years proven experience in a hands on Mechanical Fitter role
- Certificate or higher
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong analytical skills
- Hands on with high attention to detail
