About the role:
Based in Wetherill Park NSW, reporting to the Engineering Team Leader you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving maintenance through the plant as well as the high-capacity robotics handling gas cylinders section.
Responsibilities include:
Provide mechanical and electrical troubleshooting support to resolve plant equipment failures and other operational issues.
Conduct detailed root-cause analysis to engineer-out recurring downtime and safety issues.
Project and contractor management for both internal and external resources supporting maintenance and improvement work.
Diagnostics of Pneumatic and/or electrical equipment and control systems related to specific plant and equipment within a manufacturing environment.
Job requirements:
Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil / Gas plant maintenance
Experience working within an Electrical and Mechanical maintenance team
Understanding of industrial control system, SCADA, and PLC equipment .
MUST have knowledge of robot control.
Familiarity with AS/NZ Standards.
Demonstrated ability to perform electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities including breakdown, preventative, planned and unscheduled work. Activities include LLF tasks, instrument calibrations, condition monitoring programs such as thermography, ultrasound etc.
Demonstrated knowledge of electrical and pneumatic instrumentation and systems.
Strong approach to safety, problem solving and time management Knowledge of the applications of safe systems of work including access permitting arrangements and systems, and a demonstrated commitment to safety and safe working practices.
