Job description
As a Leading Hand, you will be responsible for multiple tasks when it comes to outbound products for delivery from the depot.
The role will include:
- Refilling of cylinders to meet demand for delivery on time and in full
- Ensuring cylinder compliance to standards are met
- Assisting with loading and unloading of trucks as required
- Maintain a high level of site safety in line with company policies and procedures.
- Comply with company standards relating to the safe handling of LPG cylinders
- Reporting of all incidents, near miss/hazards, injury, safety or security breaches to management.
Successful candidate must possess the following:
- Must hold current Forklift License
- Current First Aid Certificate
- HR Drivers License highly desirable
- Experience in a similar role with leadership capabilities
- Physically fit and capable of manual duties as required
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical along with drug & alcohol test
- Ability to provide driver history record and criminal history check
