An immediate opportunity has become avialble with our client - a Leading Supplier of Gas and Gear Equipment in Australia.
Purpose:
Internal Sales /Client facing role. Meet clients on arrival. Discuss their needs & solutions and facilitate the sales process.
Principal responsibilities:
WHS:
· Comply with Security and Safety Standards, Procedures and Policies and participate in tool box meetings, planned inspections etc
Customer Service:
· Be a positive interface to customers
· Initiate first contact with the customer
· Ensure the transaction process for customers is timely, efficient and accurate
· Provide machine demonstrations to customers as required
· Manage and resolve customer queries and complaints in a timely manner
Sales:
· Strive to exceed sales targets
· Identify sales opportunities
· Increase the range of products that customers purchase (cross sell / up sell)
· Participate in any inventory management activities
Operations:
· Handling, Receiving, despatching and storing of gas cylinders and hardgoods
· Delivery of cylinders or hardgoods to customer sites may be required
Individual Development
· Participate in regular training sessions and be proactive with product knowledge development

Required qualifications/experience
· Year 12 or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year in a sales role (preferably retail)
· Welding or similar trade experience desirable
· Clean driver licence
· Forklift licence advantageous
