About the role
Our client is a leading manufacturer of metal products, specialising in roofing and guttering, and are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Roofing Plant Offsider.
Responsibilities:
- Work in the roofing plant, guiding metal sheets down the conveyor belt.
- Load metal sheets onto pallets efficiently and safely.
- Collaborate with the machine operator as an offsider to ensure smooth operations.
- Strap pallets securely and prepare them for transportation.
- Maintain a clean and organised work space.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements:
- Physical ability to handle metal sheets and lift heavy loads.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic understanding of machinery operations.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and procedures.
