Job description
Our client is seeking an Electrical AutoCAD Drafter to join their team of highly skilled electrical personnel. Working with the engineer you will be assisting with the detailed design and manufacturing of electrical switchboards for industrial and commercial applications, from small single pumping controls right up to the larger custom-built cabinets incorporating PLC and Variable Speed Drive controls
If you have experience in electrical drafting and want a challenging job in a fast-paced, interesting environment, work directly with engineers to create high-quality technical drafts and schematics, this job is for you.
Must have the ability to solve mathematical calculations involving factors such as angles, weights, and costs. Work efficiently to produce the required output according to set schedules.
The successful candidate must demonstrate;
- Experience with CAD software
- Strong Electrical Design experience
- Ability to read plans
- Ability to work alone
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable with repetitive work
- Reliable and good timekeeper
- Work from rough sketches and specifications created by engineers
- Design products with engineering and manufacturing techniques
- Work under the supervision of engineers
