The Role:
As a key member of the construction team, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of trade-related tasks on diverse projects, including commercial fit-outs, residential builds, and villa construction. You will work closely with site supervisors and project teams to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in a structured onboarding program to ensure alignment with project standards and local regulations.
- Perform a variety of trade tasks related to commercial and residential construction, including framing, fix-outs, and finishing work.
- Interpret architectural drawings, plans, and construction documentation.
- Operate power tools and machinery safely and effectively, adhering to site procedures.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and project teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
- Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and workmanship on site.
- Adapt to diverse working environments, including high-rise residential, office fit-outs, and villa construction.
- Adhere to project schedules and proactively communicate any potential issues or delays.
- Comply with all relevant Dubai labor laws and health & safety regulations.
- Provide support to other trades as needed and contribute to team-based construction activities.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of tools, materials, and work areas.
- Uphold a professional demeanor when representing the company on client-facing sites.
- Demonstrate flexibility with shift work, extended hours, or project rotations, as required by project demands.
What You'll Bring:
- Minimum 3-5 years of trade experience in both commercial and residential construction sectors.
- Proven track record in relevant areas such as fit-outs, framing, fix-out, and formwork.
- Strong understanding of site safety practices, including manual handling and tool operation.
- Demonstrated ability to accurately read and interpret construction plans.
- Team-oriented approach with excellent collaboration skills in a multicultural environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to travel internationally and adapt to overseas working conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Relevant trade qualifications (Cert III or equivalent) in Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical, Bricklaying, or Painting & Decorating.
- Valid driver's license.
- Multiple trade qualifications are highly regarded.
Salary and Benefits:
Our client offers a competitive tax-free salary package, including:
- Carpenter: $80,000 - $100,000+
- Electrician: $90,000 - $120,000
- Plumber: $85,000 - $125,000
- Concreter: $80,000 - $112,400
- Steel Fixer / Formworker: $85,000 - $120,000
