Our Client

Our client is an Australian owned and operated company established in 1991. They engage more than 1000 workers currently and offer a diverse range of career oppurtunities across Australia and New Zealand.

They are currently looking for two Contract Operations Supervisors to join their team on an ongoing basis. The roles will be based at Kemps Creek or Eastern Creek.

The Role

The primary objective of the Contract Operation Supervisor's role is to ensure the client provides outstanding service levels to the customer for both on demand and permanent vehicle requirements.

Reporting to the Operations Manager and State Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

- Health, Safety, Compliance and Quality

  • Managing the safety of people, customers, the public and the environment
  • Providing direction and support to the team

- Operational Management

  • Control driver and job numbers
  • Service requirements and volumes of work to be effectively communicated
  • Attending meetings both in the office and at customer sites
  • Ensure pricing within contracts is completed accurately
  • Transport scheduling. planning and accountability of operations to budget expectations
  • Ensure fleet maintenance is up to date and compliant
  • Ensure OHSE KPI's and compliance standards are met
  • Ensure all policies, procedures, SOP's and standards are met
  • Ensure all customer KPI's, SOP's and standards are met

- People Management

  • Manage all employee and subcontractor drivers
  • Supervise and provide guidance to all drivers at the site
  • Ensure all drivers are uniformed and well presented
  • Conduct review meeting with perm drivers
  • Monitor driver performance

- Asset Management

  • Ensure all vehicles are clean and well maintained
  • Ensure all vehicles are utilized efficiantly

- Reporting

  • Submit reports to management and customer management as requested

About you

- Previous transport and logistics experience essential

- Experience within a dispatch environment

- Strong communication skills

- Leadership skills

- Current drivers licence
