Our client is one a leading distributor of fresh and frozen seafood products. We are looking for enthusiastic Production Staff, who will ensure the highest quality standards are maintained for distribution to clients and customers.
Immediate Start - Casual Basis - All positions have a potential view to ongoing long term, after a qualifying period and all successful candidates.
We are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals who have a strong work ethic that can be a part of this diverse team in Port Lincoln, SA. The ability to work under supervision as well as being a self starter is essential.
This is a fast paced production environment and you will be required to ensure you can maintain a sense of urgency in your work
We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills and attributes:
- Reliable and have a good work ethic
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- A fantastic attitude to work with a "Go Getter" Attitude!
Duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Cleaning, grading, sorting, filleting and portioning fish and shellfish
- Receiving and storing produce and maintaining an even, cool temperature
- Operating packaging processes, and wrapping equipment
- Packing stock for distribution and sale
- Maintaining a clean working environment
- Packing, stacking and some candidates will get the task of manually lifting boxes and crate @ 20-25kg
Note: Employee will be directly handling fish and shellfish which may result in allergic reaction.
