LSA Health is one of the leading providers for caring and nursing staff to Aged Care and Community providers across Australia.
We are looking for people who are genuine, passionate and selfless about caring for others, enriching their lives. Who can deliver the highest standard of care and service to clients either in their homes or residential aged care.
Key Duties:
- Assisting clients with transfers in and out of bed and wheelchairs, using hoists when required.
- Grooming, bathing, dressing and dental hygiene.
- Personal care, including toileting, bladder and bowel management.
- Basic wound care and self-medication.
- Domestic support such as meal preparation, light household duties and laundry.
- Community access such as driving to appointments and social activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-12 months experience in Aged Care
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care/Disability/Individual support or equivalent
- Current Federal Police Check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current Flu Vaccination Certificate
- Drivers licence and reliable car an advantage
- Compassion and genuine empathy for the elderly
