Job description
LSA Health are currently seeking Personal Care Assistants to join our care team, you will have the flexibility of working hours, locations, long or short-term contracts, local/Rural and remote in aged care or a hospital environment.
You must have a high standard and exceptional level of patient personal care, excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Aged care - Your duties will be assisting residents with daily activities including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, assisting with mobility, some cleaning duties.
Hospitals - (Patient special OR Ward assist) - Your duties include aiding other medical personnel as they provide treatment, interacting with patients, assist in patients with daily activities, clean hospital rooms, transport patients to diagnostic tests, help with grooming, feeding and listening to their needs.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Services or individual Support is ideal.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
- COVID Vaccination certificate
- Current Criminal History Check
- Availability to work a variety of shift
- Working with children certificate
