Job description
Join a great company that takes pride and ensures the highest quality in there services for the storage of cold/dry food products for major companies. They specialise in the storage of dry, chilled and frozen products for clients both internationally and domestic. They are looking for hard working and motivated labourers to join the team for an on going position located in Laverton North.
Key Features
- 6/8am starts
- $29.37 per hour
- 38 hours per week plus overtime
- Monday to Friday
- Casual on going - temp to perm position pending on performance
- Working undercover in an outside environment (not in cold warehouse)
Duties include but not limited to :
- Loading and unloading pallets of boxed meat
- Not directly touching meat all meat is packed in boxes
- Placing boxes on stillages
- Wrapping and stacking products
- Getting ready to store boxes
- Heavy lifting included (18kg - 22kgs per box)
- Constant lifting
- Manual handling techniques are very important in this role
To be successful in this position you will have:
- Warehouse and distribution experience
- Comfortable with repetitive lifting of products within 15kgs - 25kgs.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Reliability is essential
- Physically fit and able bodied
- Comfortable with constant heavy lifting
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Available for a full week of work
- A desire to succeed and be part of a team
