The company is seeking a forward thinking, self-motivated Station Manager located in Central Queensland to lead and manage pastoral operations, driving business opportunity.
The property comprises and prides itself on commercial organic cattle, stub cattle & irrigated and dryland farming, supplying grains from zero chemical croplands and cattle grown on natural production systems pastures, forages and irrigated Leucaena.
You will be directly responsible for the planned and operational tasks of all pastoral resources including people, livestock, crops and property reporting into stakeholders.
The Station Manager is responsible for the day to day management of the farm, be accountable for maximising production and profitability in line with management plans and budgets.
You will oversee the maintenance on farming plant and equipment, Implementing and monitoring the improvements of ground cover, soils, weed control and water efficiency.
This role requires continuous evaluation and development of these assets, ensuring timeliness and efficiency of operations enhancing return on investment. The Station Manager will be required to think outside the square, be influential and encourage leadership and ownership among staff.
