Recruitment Entreprenuer Tops Fast List
Recruitment entrepreneur Andrew Northcott has achieved high ranking in BRW Magazine's list of the fastest growing companies for the fifth consecutive year, as announced in Sydney last night.
Andrew's LSA Recruitment Group ranked 9th in the BRW Magazine Fastest Growing List 2010. The business also contributed to the 325% growth in revenue achieved by the overall LSA Recruitment Group in the past twelve months.
LSA Recruitment is the fastest growing recruitment business in Australia and we are providing the opportunity for recruitment professionals to own their part of this business.
Andrew Northcott, aged 26, has grown a recruitment empire from $800 to $10million in six years, overcoming severe skills shortages and the economic downturn that drove many of the country's larger recruiter groups out of business.
No stranger to the Fastest Growing List, Andrew's labour hire business has ranked in the top 100 listing for the past four years running.
"The business is all about reinventing recruitment. Taking a traditional business services model and turning it on its head to get a better outcome," said Andrew Northcott, Managing Director of LSA Recruitment Group, including LSA Recruitment for professional placement and Labour Solutions Australia for labour hire.
"People are the power of this business. Empower them and the business will follow.
"LSA Recruitment hand picks the country's most talented recruiters and gives them the chance to run their own show. They take on their own business locally and stay connected to a national brand and network," he said.
Andrew entered the blue collar recruitment market with $800 and a laptop to launch Labour Solutions Australia in 2004. Acting as recruiter and candidate, he hired himself out to his first client as a labourer.
The Brisbane-based business grew into one of the country's leading labour hire companies and in 2008, Andrew built on this success to launch LSA Recruitment for executive placement.
LSA Recruitment Group achieved a $10million turnover last financial year, with 18 staff and a client sheet including Government clients, DHL, GHD, Ceva Logistics and Coca-Cola Amatil.
Andrew's growth plan for the next 12 months is to have 35 LSA Recruitment businesses operating nationally and within three years, to expand into the UK and US markets.
