Andrew was born in Adelaide and moved to Brisbane in 1992. He has experience in the rural sector working for Australian Agricultural Company and various other companies around the Roma region. Andrew has also gained invaluable people / project management experience throughout his previous endeavours in the Property and Construction sector. Andrew is a member of the API and has been awarded membership to the Golden Key International Honour Society for academic excellence in his Property Economics Degree. Andrew’s strengths and focus are in business strategy and direction, financial structuring and marketing of which these talents have been instrumental in developing the business to achieve these great heights of success we see today. Outside the parameters of work Andrew is a past national yacht racing champion of which he still races competitively today, due to his experiences in the rural sector he shares a passion for horse sports and is involved with the Willowcroft Polo team. Ken Warriner – Shareholder / Business AdvisorKen has been Managing Director and Chairman of Consolidated Pastoral Co since inception in 1983 which owns 265,000 cattle on 17 properties, predominantly in Northern Australia. They have developed all properties to a high standard which both affords operating efficiencies but also ensures a high level of workplace health and safety for employees. The stud breeding division in CPC would have very few peers in the world producing 1,100 Brahmans along with the group’s requirements for 200 Charolais and Black Angus bulls. CPC has taken over and has operated for the parent company, Consolidated Press Holdings, a cotton plantation, dairy, potato and macadamia nut farms; all very sizeable operations and which were operating successfully and profitably when sold. Since 1993 Ken has been Chairman of GRM International and Austrex. GRM provides advisory and management services to 124 countries for government and private clients, and 28 bilateral and multilateral agencies in Australia and overseas. The Company, based in Brisbane, has offices in Manila, Jakarta, Oman, United Kingdom, Pretoria, Amsterdam and Stockholm and currently manages over 35 development projects employing more than 400 professional staff. Austrex is a company trading primarily in livestock from Australia to the Middle East, South East Asia and China.Ken is a past Chairman of Consolidated Meat Group, Road Trains of Australia, Australian Fuel Distributors and a former Board member of Channel 8 Television Darwin. He is a past President of the Northern Territory Cattleman’s Association, The Asian Cattleman’s Association and was a member of the committee advising the National Farmers Federation on Aboriginal issues. Whilst travelling extensively Ken divides his time between Brisbane and Newcastle Waters Station. As a pilot he is approaching 25,000 hours and has five sons, all of who are involved in the pastoral industry. David Brindley - Business AdvisorDavid was raised on the family dairy farm at Berry and attended Saint Ignatius College in Sydney. He completed his Bachelor of Business in 1991 and became an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1997. He has had a varied working life including as a station-hand on properties in New South Wales and Queensland, running shearing teams around Thargomindah and Wanaaring, in the stockcamps on a station in the Kimberely and for several years on oil & gas exploration rigs near Moomba and the Amadeus Basis near Alice Springs. He was assistant accountant for a subsidiary of a large public company which ran a number of hardware stores and timber mills prior to entering public practice. He is an Associate with Bray & Associates, a Chartered Accounting Firm with offices in Sydney and Bowral. Whilst undertaking traditional compliance accounting and taxation work David’s main interest lies with assisting clients with the growth and management of their businesses or investments, which tends to include arranging finance, assisting with property transactions including overseeing property developments, reviewing investment opportunities, contract negotiations and due diligence. His wife, Bronwen is a pharmacist and they live in Bowral with their two children. Aaron Anderson – Special Counsel (Deacons’) – IR and WH&S ConsultantAaron works in conjunction with LSA in relation to all Industrial Relations, Workplace Health and Safety and other such employment issues. Aaron is employed as Special Counsel in Deacons’ Workplace Relations Group practising solely in matters affecting the workplace, including industrial relations, employment issues, discrimination, workers’ compensation and workplace health and safety. He is admitted to practise in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court. Aaron has acted for both public and private organisations and has a depth of experience as an advocate before both State and Federal courts, tribunals and commissions as well as being a prolific trainer and presenter in his areas of expertise. Dylan Byrne – Partner (BDO Kendalls) – LSA Company AccountantDylan is LSA’s company account, Dylan was chosen because of his experience within the labour hire industry and brings some great experience to the organisation and has vast experience within the meat and agriculture industries. Dylan has 12 years experience in public practice and during this time he has been working with clients from a wide range of industries including motor vehicle dealers, property development, medical specialists, manufactures, wholesalers and professional practices. He has provided assistance in areas including profit maximisation strategies, cashflow budgeting, tax compliance, business management advice, business acquisitions and sales, tax effective structuring and exit strategies. Dylan has also worked closely with State and Federal government departments in accessing grants and rebates which are very useful in funding business expansion projects. Dylan also has extensive experience in assisting new business owners to grow their business from the initial start-up phase through to maturity.
